A precious time capsule is how I feel when I look at Jocelyn's art of Grace. We were in for a family portrait. She captured Grace at the sweet age of 4, wearing her hair bow, with her big, beautiful green eyes, making her giggle and smile. At that time, she caught Grace and I, up close, having a moment of conversation that turned into a treasured memory. Fast forward to age 18 and my horse girl had found her heart horse, earned her USDF Silver Medal, and the privilege to wear the Shadbelly jacket.
Through these portraits of Grace and Leonardo, I'm able to instantly see Jocelyn seizing all of the moments of their training, competitions, and quiet moments hanging out in his stall together, wrapped into one.
These portraits mean the most to me because I was there every day at the barn and at the shows with Grace for 12 years before she left for college.
Your gift of photography has given me these cherished moments in time, Jocelyn!
